ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
TUESDAY, MARCH 22ND, 2022
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is World Water Day which is celebrated to raise awareness about the sustainable fresh water resources around the world. More than 880 million people on our planet do not have access to safe drinking water, and the amount of water we need to drink and provide food, goods and services continue to grow.
The United Nations General Assembly announced the first World Water Day in 1993. Every 3 years, participants will attend the World Water Forum to discuss important issues regarding water sustainability, consumption and access. The last World Water Forum was in Dakar in 2021
To celebrate today, never take the water you drink for granted and raise awareness for the need of it.
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Water is the driving force of all nature.
Leonardo da Vinci
I will definitely be celebrating today and am thankful for the endless supply of fresh water here. It is piped right into my house. We have fresh water supplied by Lake Erie and purified in water plants . I still prefer bottled water for drinking but I shouldn’t have to do so. They say our water is safe to drink. For me it’s only a matter of taste .
I took my car into be serviced yesterday evening and I’m not sure how long it will be gone. Meanwhile, I’ll be staying at home and that’s ok as I’ve no where I have to be. Hopefully it won’t be long until they have it fixed and I’ll be good to go again.
It’s supposed to rain later on today and for most of the rest of the week too and on the weekend there is a possibility of snow This is nothing new for us, we have seen snow in April here before.
.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.
W.H. Auden
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought
Matthew 5:5 (MSG)

Water, water, everywhere, but not a drop to drink.
How fortunate we are to enjoy fresh water. What comes from our taps isn't nearly so refreshing as that I enjoyed in the Rockies -- or what you have from Lake Erie. But. Disasters aside, thank goodness we don't have to fear contamination.
