ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
SUNDAY, MARCH 20TH, 2022
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is the Spring Equinox which is the first official day of Spring. Get ready to pack away the winter clothes, because soon enough we’ll be enjoying warmer weather, much longer days, and the arrival of flora and fauna.
The word equinox means equal night, referring to the fact that days and nights are approximately equal everywhere, and the sun rises and sets due east and west.
According to popular folklore, you can stand a raw egg on its end during the equinox. No one has satisfactory proven this to be true or false. Try for yourself and see what happens.
The Spring Equinox brings some sure signs of changing seasons, from blooming flowers to chirping birds. It marks the beginning of nature’s renewal in the Northern Hemisphere.
To celebrate today enjoy the beauty all around you.
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
That’s one good thing about this world…there are always sure to be more springs.
L.M. Montgomery
I’m so thankful that Spring has finally come. It’s been a long, long winter and I’m tired of being cold. We’ve recently had a few days of temps in the 70’s but for today we’re only going to be in the 50’s and it looks like the week ahead will be around the same. And we’ll be having some rain too.
Although our nights are still very chilly, the afternoons tend to warm up. I’ve been working on packing the winter clothes away, but there is still a long way to go. I still have some fall clothing to put away too.
On the bright side, the part for my car has come in and I’ll be taking it to be fixed Tuesday morning. It will be nice to finally have it done.
Happy Spring !
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
Anne Bradstreet
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
10,078.for Spring my favorite season
10,079.for a reliable garage to fix my car
10,080. for a day to relax and refresh
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY

No Spring misses its turn.
We too are glad to see Spring and our temps here have dropped a little. Hoping for better soon. Always a good visit to your house, and thankful also for all our blessings,

Even tho' Mother Nature's still dragging her feet, I know you're mighty thankful for Spring! Love how you decorate your home with the pastels; I'm especially fond of that embroidered doily. I didn't remember that legend about standing a raw egg on end, but you can bet I'm going to try that here in a few minutes! If it works I'll grab a photo ... if not, I'll enjoy eating the results!
