ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 27TH, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!

Today is National Tell a Story Day which encourages people of all ages to share stories. The stories can take many forms too. You can read from a book or create one from your own imagination. Stories recreated from childhood memory leave an indelible imprint on both the story teller and the listener. No matter what story you tell, the day supports gathering with friends and family to share those stories.
The ancient practice of story telling handed down knowledge from one generation to the next. It is a wonderful way to pass on family traditions, histories and long told tales. It can also be entertaining as well as educational. Any good story teller will tell you some of the very best stories related from real life experiences.
To celebrate today, tell stories that includes a real life experience. Spend time telling stories with family friends and loved ones so we an learn together from each other and grow closer together.
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life. The secret of success is in turning that diary into the best story you possibly can.
Douglas Pagels
Some of the best stories I ever heard were told around our family table having coffee with my mom and and dad. They told about their days as children, the great depression and the war years.
I learned a lot of history along the way. Every one has a story to tell of their life and all are different. Don’t pass up the chance to tell some of your own. It’s a way of remembering what our ancestors did and how times have changed.
we need to pass on the stories so our children will know where they came from. And no one can tell your story but you.
Our picture albums also tell stories about the times and todays picture are of trip we took on a trolley ride in downtown Cleveland. They show a lot history and culture.
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Tell your stories, pass them on...
One of my favorite sayings is, "Every time an old person dies, it's like a library burning down." I'd better get crackin!
I wish I would have paid more attention to the stories that were told around our table when I was a child. Have a nice Tuesday Ma!
