ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 22ND, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Earth Day which is the largest civic observance in the world and its purpose to raise awareness about important environmental issues. More than 1 billion people in 175 countries participate in Earth Day Events.
The first Earth Day took place in 1970. After witnessing the effects of an oil spill in Santa Barbara, California, U.S. Senator Garlord Nelson organized a grassroots environmental teach in on college campuses across the country. Many people believe that this first Earth Day celebration marked the beginning of the modern environmental movement.
To celebrate today, plant a tree, help clean up a beach or park and learn about how you can help locally. Happy Earth Day!
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
The ultimate test of man’s conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose word of thanks will not be heard.
Gaylord Nelson
Our environment is so important and effects us all. There is not enough good I can say about those who strive to make it better. We’ve done our part as far as cleaning up goes here at my house. The yard is now free of debris from the winter and ready to mow when the grass grows. Today’s pictures are of my yard. I have already posted pictures of the clean up job my Daughter helped me do.
We can all do our part to make the world a better place to live in. Even the smallest of things can make a big difference.
Thankfully, after waking up to snow on Wednesday morning, the sun came out and it began to melt. Spring has retuned once more and I’ll be out today taking advantage of it.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!!
To cherish what remains of the Earth and to foster its renewal is our only legitimate hope of survival.
Wendell Berry
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
9110. for those who make the world a better place
9111. for warmer Spring weather today
9112. for my daughter who is always there to help out.
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Try to leave the Earth a better place than when you arrived.
Sidney Sheldon

A bit of love from someone dear…

Celebrate our wonderful world. Happy Earth Day!
I love how more recognition is being given to those stewards of the environment! Here in little Coosada/Millbrook churches are teaming up to walk the main street(s) picking up trash. It's everyBODY's responsibility.
Happy Earth Day! Enjoy the warmer weather today :)
