ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 11TH, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Pet Day which is all about appreciating and celebrating the wonderful pets in your life. There are approximately 86,4 Million pet cats and 76.2 million pet doges living in the United States. Gerbils, birds, turtles, and fish are also very common household pets. Many pet owners consider that their pet is an important member of the family.
Celebrity pet lifestyles expert and animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige founded National Pet Day to raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption. The motto of the holiday is: Don’t shop! Adopt! and it is sponsored by the Animal Miracle Foundation whose mission is to help animals in shelters find forever homes.
To celebrate National Pet day, take your dog on a long walk or give your cat a little extra catnip to show your love and appreciation. Not a pet owner? Consider making a donation or volunteering at your local pet shelter.
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
(Still can't add new phots, but think large white fluffy dog.)
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.
George Elliot
As you all know by now, I’m no longer a pet owner but I have lots of pets in my family to enjoy. All of my sons and my daughter have pets at their homes. I enjoy visiting all of them, but there is a new one that I’ve not yet mat. DS#3 and his family hae adopted a new dog and his picture is shown above. His name is Romeo. What a handsome fellow he is. He is still a pup and is still growing. I can only say, Welcome to the family.
The other pictures are some of my other grand pets. I love them all and am happy to get my pet fix when I visit them.
It’s another Sunday I get to go to church and after church today I’m taking dinner over to my Sister and her husband. I’m so happy to be doing something for them and always enjoy any time I get to spend with them.
After that I’ll probably come back home and enjoy my Sunday afternoon nap. I enjoy my naps and think there is nothing better. The refresh and renew you.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY

Our best friends often have four legs.
Such adorable grand pups! Enjoy church and your visit with your sister and her hubby. Have a relaxing Sunday Ma. :)
Romeo boy is adorable!
I think everyday here on Chapman Road is Pet Day! They're ridiculously spoiled, but at the same time, bring us joy. Neat, that you're able to enjoy your 'grand-pups' without the 24/7 responsibility. Kinda like having a time-share pet. 😃
That's a nice gesture, preparing a meal for your sister and BIL. Enjoy your Sunday!
