ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SATURDAY, MARCH 6TH, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!

Today is National Oreo Cookie Day which celebrates the delicious chocolate cookie with creme filling that we all know and love. The Oreo sandwich is made using powdered sugar, vanilla water, granulated sugar and shortening.
Americans have been enjoying Oreas for over a century, with the first Oreo cookies being sold in March, 1912 to a grocer in Hoboken, N.J. The Oreo cookies have since become the best selling cookie in the United States There are tons of fun and unique Oreo flavors, a few examples are Birthday Cake, Cookie Dough and Banana Split.
To celebrate today pour yourself a glass of milk and indulge in some Oreo cookies.
If you can’’t see the bright side, polhish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Dessert is a necessity of life.
Adrienne Posey
I can celebrate today and enjoy some Oreos. I’ll have them for my dessert.
Usually I’d be cooking on Saturday for the weekend but because I’m getting take out for dinner today, thanks to my children, I don’t have to cook.
My son and daughter that live close by are going do a get together for my birthday. We usually go to Red Lobster, but this year we are doing their take out service. I’ll still be having my favorite Coconut Shrimp. It’s my favorite birthday meal and always get the same thing and have for years. It’s a proven winner and I’m not changing now. I also love their cheesy biscuits. I’ve tried making my own, but they are never as good as theirs is.
There is always a good portion leftover so I can heat it up in the oven and enjoy it again tomorrow.
The pictures today are of my birthday last year when we actually went to and dined in at Red Lobster.
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday!!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

It's Party Time !
Yes ma'am! Strike up the band!
So glad you're being celebrated today with some of your favorite people and yummy food. It's been a year since I actually ate inside a restaurant -- but like you, I always order the same dish. Why mess with a good thing? πππ
Whoo-hoo party time! Happy birthday Ma! Enjoy your delicious dinner tonight :)
Any day is a Happy one if you've got shrimp. Had some last night (frozen from Aldi's), but still good).
Looked at and looked at the stacked bags of Oreos today at Target and, being Good only at the moment, did not get any BUT sure wish I had seeing it's Oreos Day. Love, love them and can't eat just one, five, ten...haha.
Have a great Sunday tomorrow and your New Year ahead.
Happy π Birthday π π₯³
