ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, MAY 2ND, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is World Laughter Day which was first celebrated on January 22, 1998. in Mumbai, India. and was arranged by the founder of the world wide Laughter Yoga movement. Laughter Yoga says: Laughter is a positive and powerful emotion that has all the required ingredients for individuals to master themselves and change the world in a tubular way. The celebration is now celebrated worldwide.
It’s mean to be a positive manifestation for world peace and to build up global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. It’s popularity has grown exponentially with that of the laughter Yoga movement, which is now counting over 6000 Laughter clubs worldwide on all 5 continents.
The laughter is physical in nature and doesn’t necessarily involve humor or comedy. Laughter is easily stimulated in a group when we cotch, childlike playfulness and laughter exercises. Fake laugher quickly becomes real. Laughter Yoga brings more oxygen to the body and the brain.by incorporating yogi breathing which results in deep diaphragmatic breathing. Laughter Yoga is based on the concept that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter - physiologically and psychological the benefits are identical.
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A day without lauhter is a day wasted.
Chalie Chaplin
I’m not into the practice of yoga, but I do believe that laughter is the best medicine. It strengthens your immune system, boosts the mood, diminishes pain and protects ou from the damaging effects of stress. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hope, connects you to others and keeps you grounded, focused and alert. It helps you release anger and forgive sooner.
As children we used to laugh hundreds of times a day, but as adults, life tends to be more serious and laughter less frequent. By seeking out more opportunities for laughter we can improve our emotional health and strengthen relationships and find greater happiness and even add years to our life. It truly is the best medicine.
Laughter is both good physically and mentally
I hope you have a RELAXING Sunday!

our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Laughter is the best medicine !
I have never heard of laughter yoga but that sure sounds like my kind of workout! I agree with you, laughter really is the best medicine!
I don't practice traditional yoga, either. But I love the concept of Laughter Yoga. I'm going to try and learn more about that.
