ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
SUNDAY,FEBRUARY 6TH, 2022
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!
Today is National Frozen Yogurt Day which celebrates a health conscious trend of the 1970’s spurred by the creation of this frozen treat. It’s a healthy alternative to Ice Cream. However is didn’t gain widespread popularity until the 1980’s, when recipes improved to the point of the frozen yogurt we know and love.
Frozen yogurt has come to be eaten almost as much as ice cream, and is served in just as many flavors and varieties. Frozen yogurt is a great source of calcium and potassium, but remember to still enjoy in moderation.
You can eat it plain, or add toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, coconut whipped cream — whatever you like. With such a vast variety of flavors, theres sure to be one out there for you.
Happy National Frozen Yogurt Day!
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
I do enjoy ice cream but to my knowledge I’ve never had frozen yogurt, but since it is a healthier alternative maybe it is time I enjoyed some.
Truthfully, anything cold doesn’t appeal to me right now. I rather have something hot. It’s been so cold here, I’m only thinking about keeping warm.
I’m staying in today, but the weather is warming up. We’re to be above freezing at 35 degrees. I’m looking forward to seeing some of the snow melt.
More and more I’m enjoying the services that are streamed online, but I do miss the association with the people there and actually being there.
Winter is not going to last forever and I’m looking forward to even warmer and brighter days.
The pictures today are of ice cream but we can pretend they are frozen yogurt. They are both very popular!
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Dessert is a treat ~ Enjoy a healthy alternative
I don't know that I've ever tried frozen yogurt either. It's a shame when you have to call just above freezing warming up - I can't even imagine!
I remember when frozen yogurt shops were everywhere. The soft-swirl kind I'm talking about; I've never tried that sold in cartons like ice cream. Anyway, when I worked near downtown Tampa, there was a nearby shopping mall featuring a kiosk. More often than not, I'd drive there for a peanut butter or pumpkin flavor and call it my lunch. Good times!
