ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7TH, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Frappe Day which celebrates a chilled foam covered coffee drink that originated in Greece in the 1960’s Today there are many different variations of this refreshing beverage.
In the United States frappes are usually made with coffee, milk, ice , vanilla Ice cream and sugar combined in a blender . In other parts of the worlds fruit frappes are popular.
Some people presence it frap while others ssy Fram-pay, but everyone can agree on the satisfying taste of this cool, creamy coffee treet.
To celebrate today, make your own frappe in honor of the day !
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
Now all that’s left to do is whip up your favorite pumpkin dessert and and enjoy your 1,000 viewing of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
Fall is usually the time we turn to hot beverages like hot cocoa, but with the above average temps we are having a cool refreshing frappe sounds pretty good right now. So I’m thinking that a pumpkin spice frappe is in order today.
I think I have all the ingredients on hand and I found a good recipe to share for making our own.
Pumpkin Spice Frappe
2 cups frozen coffee
2 1/2 tbsp. Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
Cinnamon
Chocolate syrup
Whipped cream
Place coffee creamer in a blender, Add frozen coffee. Pulse slowly until blended
Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and cinnamon.
We have been above normal all week with temps in the upper 70’s close to 80 degrees, but we are to have another chance of rain today. Next week looks to be much the same but with less rain and more sunshine.
This Frappe will be my dessert for today ! The pictures today are some of my family doing some pumpkin picking.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thusday!
I heard a pumpkin a day Keeps the Goblins away!

Our weather is very summer like today. A cold beverage will hit the spot.
That sounds yummy, indeed! Dessert in a cup! Thanks for this recipe... do you use an immersion blender? I've been thinking of putting one of those on my 'Santa wish list.'
