Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Don't forget to check the batteries in your smoke alarms. They do save lives.
Far more than sports stars or maintee idols, I believe firefighters are true heroes! Theirs are often dangerous occupations.
Better little ones look up to them. Adults, too!
Enjoy your new book!
WE enjoy the unique history you bring into our lives. And like your Grands, I can remember that phase I went thru wanting to be a fireman. Life is good and that is very true, the quote of the old saying, yep you can get burned, I have experienced that in my psyic and in real pain. LOL
Love from down here. Sherry & jack
I like fire prevention day! And you are right - if you play with fire you will be burned.
