Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I'm so thankful for my car. She is not new but works just fine. I take care for her and she gets me where I need to go.
Your car sparkles, for sure! Cute name.
Unfortunately, I've been remiss keeping the car cover over mine so she desperately needs a good scrub to get rid of the leaves and sap. (*sigh*)
Tom refers to her as 'the old lady' and like Tom and me, she's been expensive to maintain lately. All things considered, like Timex she's taken a licking and keeps on ticking. Maybe I should name her 'Timex'!?
Happy Sunday!
Funny you mentioned cars, I am trying to write a little about cars myself. I name a lot of things, usually one word: Joe, George, Stupid or Silly. LOL
Enjoyed the read and visit. Getting ready to hit the road again after only one night.
Love ya,
Sherry & jack in Florida It is a beautiful day here, it is hard to believe just down the road is all that destruction and sorrow.
No car in NYC, but I'm grateful for the bus and subway which I use just about every day. Wishes for a good week!
