Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Enjoy the beautiful colors of Fall!
We do enjoy Fall and it's colors. We also enjoy pasta. Growing up I only had 'Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meat balls.' And that was when sister Shirley cooked and mama was gone at supper time. LOL
Now our favorite for a fast meal is Spaghetti, for a slower more formal meal Sherry has a great 'Lazagna' recipe.
Enjoyed the read of course and wish you a great evening.
Sending Love, Sherry & Jack...
Those fallen leaves make such a pretty carpet! It makes me want to ask Alexa to play Nat King Cole's 'Autumn Leaves' -- that's still a favorite of mine.
Our neighbor is still ready, willing and able to rake and bag his. The first Fall we were here, however, I begged Tom to leave them alone. We've struck a compromise that he'll turn them to mulch with his riding mower sometime next week ... or the week after. Fingers crossed!
