ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

WELCOME SPRING !

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is the Vernal Equinox which occurs at 6:29 A.M. EDT. The word equinox is derived from the Latin words meaning equal night. The vernal, or Spring, equinox is the point at which the Sun appears to cross the celestial equator from south to north, signaling the beginning of nature's renewal in the Northern Hemisphere.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Spring is nature’s way of saying, Let’s party!
Robin Williams
It truly is a day to celebrate ! After months of sorting out and packing, the move is complete. Now all that needs be done is for the closing on the sale of the old house. It’s time for me to dig in and get the rest of the unpacking done here and make my new house a home.
It’s a cloudy start to the day here but the longer hours of daylight have brought me out of winter hibernation. I’m ready to get this party started. Everyday is a celebration for me and what better time to begin again than the first day of Spring.
While unpacking things I found my Spring and Easter decorations and will be putting up some of those too. I love decorating for the seasons. I certainly don’t have as many decorations as I used to, but there is more than enough to go around.
Once again I’m saying thank you to all my helpers for all they did to make this move possible. I truly couldn’t have done it without all of them.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
WHAT’S NEW IN THE KITCHEN
There is a food holiday to celebrate every day of the year!
It’s National Ravioli Day!
Ravioli is served often as the main course, however, ravioli can also be a side dish or even an appetizer. Many popular recipes bake or deep fry the ravioli.
With just four ingredients and 10 minutes prep is all you need to for this oven ready Italian style casserole.
Easy Ravioli Bake
1 jar tomato pasta sauce
1 package frozen cheese filled ravioli
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom and sides of rectangular baking dish, 13 by 9 by 2 inches, with cooking spray.
Spread 3/4 cup of the pasta sauce in baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in single layer over sauce; top with half of the remaining pasta sauce and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layers once, starting with ravioli. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake 40 minutes. Remove foil; bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes longer or until bubbly and hot in center. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The year’s at the spring
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hillside’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven -
All’s right with the world!
Robert Browning
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

Those bunnies are adorable, Ma!
I still remember the first time my family discovered ravioli. Sure, it came in a can, but I was amazed at the "little pillows" goodness.
You have some adorable spring decorations. I love to decorate for the seasons too! We had summer temperatures here the past two days. Hope we'll slip into spring soon!
