ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
TUESDAY DECEMBER 14TH, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Monkey Day which is an opportunity to quit monkeying around and take a moment to participate in the celebration of all thing simian.
There are three distinct types of simian primates. Familiar species like baboons and macaques are classified as Old World Monkeys. Capuchins and howler monkeys are New World Monkeys and chimpanzees and gorillas are Apes. There are currently 264 known monkey species in the world.
To celebrate today, dress in your favorite monkey attire, share your photo with your friends or donate to you favorite monkey charity. And don’t forget to indulge in some mischeivous Monkey business!
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Monkey see, monkey do.
Old Proverb
When my children were little, I’d often think of them as monkeys, what one didn’t think of another one did.
They were a barrel of laughs and I’ll never forget all the monkey business they got into.
One of my grandsons had a monkey instead of a teddy bear and he took that monkey everywhere he would go. The problem was that now and then it needed washing. And then he was very missed.
My grandson loved that monkey. Truthfully he was a bit of a monkey himself and gave ever one plenty of laughs too.
I’ve no monkey pictures to share today so I’m showing some of my favorite ones from the net.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
9796. for my favorite monkeys, my family
9797 for a day to have fun and laugh
9798. for a bit of monkey business to do myself
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil
Don’t see everyones flaws
Don’t listen to everything you’re told
Don;t speaks about people if its’ not kind
Always look for the good in people
Not everything is the truth
It costs nothing to show respect.

That's so cute about your grandson and his monkey! Have to admit, the only monkeys I ever liked were Michael, Micky, Peter and Davy, aka The Monkees. Difficult to hear of Michael's passing the other day; now, only Micky's alive.
In England, they will call someone "a cheeky little monkey"!
Love that!
