64 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Cheeseball Day. which is a day to stuff yourself with cheeseballs. There's the light and airy, puffy cheeseball that you munch on for a snack by the dozens, very similar to cheese doodles. There is also the cheeseball, often decorated with nuts, that sits on a party tray until spread on a cracker.
Cheeseballs are addicting. Place a bowl of cheeseballs on the counter, and watch them disappear right before your eyes. Toddlers and young kids are Cheeseball hounds. So are teenagers and adults. In other words, everyone loves cheeseballs.
The cheeseballs of holiday trays is equally loved. Strangely, it is wildly popular around the holidays and hard to find other times of year.
Celebrate today with cheeseballs!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Just say Cheese!
Since today is Sunday, it might be a good time to make a cheeseball to have as an appetizer before dinner. Everyone loves cheese and crackers ! It is something that I could make a meal of.
A traditional cheeseball appetizer includes ingredients like cream cheese, cheddar cheese, nuts, salt, pepper, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Gourmet versions use bleu cheese, olives, pineapple, sherry, or smoked salmon.
I found this simple recipe for a Ranch Cheeseball. Easy and good ! Yum!
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 package ranch salad dressing mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
bacon bits
Combine salad dressing mix, the cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Form into a ball. Roll in bacon bits. Refrigerate until 10 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers.
It’s another gorgeous day for us here in Ohio. Temps cooled overnight but the sun will soon warm things up!
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
For today and its blessings, I owe the world an attitude of gratitude.
Clarence E. Hodges
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !

Oh! I've not enjoyed a cheeseball in so long.
I used to make a something called, "Smokey Boardwalk." In addition to the basics you mention contained Accent, white horseradish and was layered in chipped smoked beef, sort of like roof tiles. :)
That cheeseball looks good! Going to make it the next time we have people over. You are right, so tasty they are and so popular they can be!
betty
smile, you are loved
