77 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER
Sunrise: 7:06 am

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is Walk Around Things Day. It's an important day to avoid problems and risks, by simply walking around the potential problem. You wouldn't walk under a ladder, would you? Then, it is also wise to walk around objects, especially those that pose risk or danger.
Walk around things can also be used figuratively. It is also wise to walk around, or avoid, topics issues, and problems that are sticky, may provoke an argument, or are not readily solved.
If ever there was a day to Walk Around Things, today is that day.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.
Dale Carnegie
Walking around the snow on the ground is what I’m going to be doing today. Oh dear, it seems there is more on the way for us they say. And there is no arguing with Mother Nature, that’s for sure !
The last time we had snow like this was the first week of March and we were beginning to think it was all over. On the bright side, it’s looking like next week will be much warmer.
Walking around, avoiding, arguments or potential points of conflict is always a good idea in my books. Why waste valuable time when you could be doing something else. Life is too short. Take a walk on the bright side instead.
When you walk on the bright side you consider the positive aspects of a negative situation. It has nothing to do with a person’s home, possessions, or the people around them. It is one hundred percent about your attitude towards life. When you look on the bright side, it doesn’t mean that you’re going to magically get a new car or get your a/c fixed, or be healed from a disease. But it makes bearing that cross a little easier.
The top picture is the view from my front porch yesterday morning. The other snow pictures are of Sunday evening at DS#6’s house as we prepared to leave for the trip home. What a wild windy and snowy ride it was.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday !

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3739. for the ability to walk, one step at a time
3740. for my faith, it does make the outlook brighter
3741. for the gift of choice, I choose the bright side
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
And this was just the beginning !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Remember:
Be happy in the moment, that’s enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.
Mother Teresa
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

It would be an extraordinary day if everything hurtful could be walked around. Some would find that very difficult, I like your snow pictures but we didn't get that much, but oh so cold yesterday. My little flowers are laying their heads down this morning. The sun needs to walk around them.
The pictures are pretty, but not good if you have to drive in that type of weather! So true that some of the things in our lives it is better to walk around them then walk through them, to avoid hazards and other heart breaks as well. Always too an attitude of gratitude is a great way to live!

Ohhh snow, winter's last hurrah! I am a person who dislikes confrontation immensely! I will go a mile to avoid it! I keep meaning to tell you how much I love the introduction at the top of your page. It is very wise and meaningful and always brings a smile to my face! God bless your Tuesday! xoxo
