71 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER
Sunrise: 6:55 am

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is National Sibling Day. It is a day to appreciate and cherish your brothers and sisters. Siblings are truly a special blessing that we probably all too often take for granted. They are often our best friends and supporters through life. Another reason to celebrate is that not everyone is lucky enough to have siblings. Their lives are significantly different growing up, and throughout life.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Family Lasts Forever
F is for Familiar...
there is no place like home.
A is for always welcome,
no matter how far you roam.
M is for memories,
more cherished each passing day.
I is for inspiration
given along the way.
L is for Love you feel
each time you get together.
Y is for the years to come,
for family lasts forever.

Although I do have two sisters for which I am very thankful for, the pictures are mostly of my children today. My daughter always wished she had some sisters instead of six brothers and now her wish has been fulfilled as she has 6 sisters in law. I put a picture of all of us together at the end of this post. All were taken at our family reunion last summer so you’ve probably seen them before.
Once again we are going to be saying Good Bye to our snow as the temps today and the week ahead is to be warmer. We’ll start out in the 40’s, then 50’s and by this coming weekend, hopefully we’ll be in the 60’s! All I can say is Welcome Spring! We certainly did miss you !
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.
Desmond Tutu
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3757. for my family
3758. for my two sisters
3759. for a warmer week ahead
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
The love of family and the admiration of friends is much more important than wealth and privilege.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

enjoyed this.
Always fun to see pictures of your family, Ma! I do appreciate my brother and sister too though don't get to see them often :)
betty
Maybe because I was never blessed with a sibling, I've always been drawn to/fascinated by large families. Yours certainly seem to enjoy one another's company.
PS - I can't get over the resemblance two of your sons have to their mother! :)
Pam, what a beautiful family you have there! Lots of kids! what a blessing! I wanted more sisters and brothers and used to envy my friends who came from large families, and of course I wanted about ten children myself. I do so appreciate the brother and sister I did have though and my own five kiddos. Have a fabulous Monday. Hope it gets your week off to a grand start! xoxo
