18 DAYS UNTIL WINTER
22 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
Sunrise:7:38 am
Sunset:4:59 pm
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
Matthew 1:21
Mary will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
Luke 2:1-20
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Christmas is love.
Having a brand new grandchild in the family reminds me that it takes a lot of faith to give birth to a child. Faith allows us to take the risk. It’s not easy to give birth and it’s not easy to raise a child. I cannot even fathom what Mary must have been feeling as the angel spoke to her.
Babies are born impatient. They want to be fed, comforted, and cared for immediately. And that is just as it should be. We learn over time how to stand by, how to set our immediate needs aside, at least for a time, and wait for what we hope will come. Patient waiting is a gift of Advent.
Whatever you are waiting for, God will answer the prayer of your heart.
Today’s pictures were taken at the end of the day last Friday. It was a cold but beautiful evening.
Hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Matthew 1:22-23
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel’—which means, ‘God with us'
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1187. so very thankful that I have a God that is with me always
1188. for hopes and dreams that come true
1189. for love, it does make the world go round
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

A bit of love from someone dear…

I like that Ma, God will answer the prayer of our heart, in his own timing and his own way, but it will be according to his perfect will!
Have a great Tuesday!
