65 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!
Sunrise:7:51 am
Sunset: 5:21 pm
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
January 14th is Organize Your Home Day. It is the perfect chance to quit making excuses for one day, get down to business and get your home back into shape! Put everything else aside for a few hours and get to task on all those little niggling things and DIY jobs that have been begging to be finished for months now. You will be surprised how much you can get done, and how much difference giving your home a little TLC can make to your life.
Three levels of organizational vision:
1. The Do-able
2. The Conceivable
3. The Previously Unthinkable.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I believe that all wisdom consists in caring immensely for a few right things, and not caring a straw about the rest.
John Buchan
Organized is one thing I am NOT. I can remember days when my home and my life were organized. Everything had a place and there was a place for everything. These days it’s like everywhere is the place. I don’t have any excuses nor will I try to make up any.
More often than not my Tender Loving Care is reserved for family and friends and not my home. Still it is a place I’m comfortable. It serves all my needs and its a place where I really don’t mind spending my days.
I’m a homebody and always have been. When others wanted to pursue careers and do great things, I have always found home to be the best of places.
Remember: We all need a little TLC now and then whether it is ourselves, our homes or the people we care about.
I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
To touch the heart of someone dear -
though it might sometimes cause a tear
to fall or rest upon the cheek -
'Tis something we all should seek.
For often hearts not touched at all,
start hardening and shrinking small.
And then the time it takes to grow
A loving heart again - is very slow.
For hearts expand as those who care -
extend their love and - let us share
a moment, space or special phrase,
that eases pain on dreary days.
Or simply starts our lips to smile,
and brightens time for just a while.
The ways and kinds and means of sharing,
it seems to me - are based on caring.
And though we're often worlds apart,
You still can touch my tender heart.
You can make me smile or shed a tear,
And I'll remember you year after year.
YOU touched my heart and helped me grow.
Friend, I just thought I'd tell you so.

COUNTING MY GIFTS
One of the advantages of being disorganized is that one is always having surprising discoveries.
A.A. Milne
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1313. for those that care
1314. for my unorganized home
1315. for a hair cut, which always gives me a lift, I’m getting one today
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
Always take the time to give your very best!
'ma'
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

Yay, organize your house day!! I have a day off today, finally, and all the boys are at school and work, so I will be busy cleaning, organizing and playing in the house today, just for me... Happy Tuesday! :)
Having somewhere to go is HOME.
I'm so glad I have this place to call my home.
I think I would need an get your house organized month, LOL, as we are still dealing with clutter and both of us have run out of steam with it (actually I'm still motivated to reduce and declutter, but having to work with hubby with it has been challenging so I've resolved this house won't be organized and have learned to not let the clutter and mess get to me).
I do like being at home too in a quiet house, always good to recharge my batteries!
