69 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!
Sunrise:7:54 am
Sunset: 5:19 pm
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
If you tend to march to the beat of a different drummer, today may really float your boat! January 10th is Peculiar People Day. Give some recognition and appreciation to your quirky friends and family, and celebrate what makes you peculiar
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
We are all unique and all have some special quirk that makes us who we are. I’m thankful we are all different. No one should try to be what they’re not. Be who you are and don’t try to imitate what others are or do.
I can remember very well the days I tried to keep up with the fads. I was a younger me and didn’t realize that it didn’t make any better because I tried to dress like someone else or to do something just because it was the fad at the time. I don’t think I was under as much peer pressure as the kids today are though. It’s important for every one, not just children to know just how special they are just as they are without any thing added.
One advantage of age is that you can look back and think about the choices you made and I’m pretty satisfied with mine. Hope you all realize too just how very unique and special you are and can be content to know you are loved just the way you are.
Hope you all have a fantastic Friday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1301. for finding a sun puddle to bask in on a cold day
1302. for all the unique people in my life
1303. for my car, the little red hen started up just fine after 2 days of below zero temps
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

How cute with Peculiar Person Day. I too tried to be like someone else or like everyone else in my younger days; I'm glad I "out grew" that and learned to appreciate the uniqueness of myself and the uniqueness of others.
