75 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!
Sunrise:7:55 am
Sunset: 5:13 pm
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
Here's an interesting piece of trivia — January 4 is National Trivia Day!
Trivial things do matter... more people are killed each year by the bite of mosquitoes than are stepped upon by charging elephants.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Time has a wonderful way of weeding out the trivial.
Richard Ben Sapir
Sometimes we think the everyday little things are nothing to get excited about. We often think that it is the big spectacular things in life that are going to make us happy. But I’ve learned that it is truly the little things that make us happiest. The sunrise, the sunset, a smile, a hug of few words of kindness and cheer make such a difference in my life.
We have had are share of snow and arctic cold here. The wind blowing snow and wind chills making it feel like 0 degrees and below have been the norm the past couple of days. Today we are to be warming up some closer to 30 degrees. It’ll feel good just to be that much warmer. It’s still below freezing but an improvement. Next week they say we’ll be colder again. The snow won’t be leaving us for a good long while.
Todays pictures are of our New Years Eve celebration.
Take good care everyone. Be safe and keep warm!
I hope you have a super Saturday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
In wilderness I sense the miracle of life, and behind it our scientificaccomplishments fade to trivia
Charles Lindbergh
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1283. for my two youngest sons and their families that made my New Years celebration such a JOY
1284. for inside days to get the cleaning done
1285. for a good cup of Blueberry Muffin coffee this morning
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
Robert Brault
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Son2 and friends booked a cabin for the week, but with no rain here, no snow in the mountains... I'm sure they'll find something to get into... 68 degrees here today... Glad you had a fun New Year's Eve... :)
