Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I am happy and thankful to be a Senior Citizen!
Grumble, grumble, growl --
That's ME, Ma, seeing where Blogger swallowed my comment.
Oh, I am so glad I read this post today! I have been so bad about staying caught up with blogs I loved... I, too, am glad to be a Senior Citizen! We are the backbone of the volunteer forces here where I live, and I am glad to have time to serve. I'm glad to have time to rest, too, when I need to! I did just that this morning. Your posts are always so uplifting, MA, thank you!
Imma tell you WE love the family pictures. SWEET. And yes it is good to be a senior citizen, or an OLD MAN as I thought of men like me in my youth. LOL
Love from here
Sherry & jack....
