Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone !
Your photos are making my mouth water! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day -- no matter what time I eat it. We've not made bacon at home for a long time, probably on account of the greasy mess. All the same, I'm going to brown a pork loin this afternoon then put it in the slower cooker.
The backstory's sure interesting, and too funny about the reward for not quarreling with one's wife.
Have a super weekend! xo
Funny this showing up. Sherry & I discussed that yesterday morning I think. It is amazing how popular bacon is. Thanks for the education, didn't know about the bringing home the bacon origin.
My dad raised a hog most years of you youth. Though he was a preacher, his heart never left the farm. He loved curing the meat.
Sherry & jack smiling...
