Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

It's not a party unless you have cake !
You said, "I am not a cake decorator!" Few people are. There are some artists at it, but mama's don't have to be great at decorating as long as the kids get to lick the spoons. LOL
I am not much on sweets or cake, but I do like the texture of the devil's food cake. They should have named it different. LOL Not great for Church Home comings. HA!
Good entry, have a great day
Grinning at Jack's comment about serving devil's food at church homecomings. I think it's a favorite of most children. And if eaten correctly, they look so cute wearing it. Ha!
