ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today Is National Battery Day which is an opportunity to celebrate a vital invention. Batteries are used everywhere and come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and power compacity, to fit a wide range of needs.
Today is a good time to appreciate the batteries in our every day life. It would also be a good day to check the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
No matter how long the winter, Spring is sure to follow.
Proverb
My own personal power source is running on low right now. This is one battery that needs recharging. I’m hoping that the longer hours of daylight and warmer weather coming our way will help. The house needs a good disinfecting too and right now I do not have the energy for that but I’m spraying the Lysol disinfectant all around.
Fresh air and sunshine are high on my priority list. If we get a sunny day, I can take to the sun porch with a blanket and soak up some rays. It’s really an enclosed patio lined with lots of windows and does warm up when the sun comes out. It will stay that way until the leaves come out on the trees which will be quite a while yet. Then it will be nice and shady all summer.
Meanwhile, there is a fresh new layer of snow on the ground this morning so I’m staying in and trying to feel better each day. It’ll be awhile before I resume any normal activities. If you haven’t had this flu that is going around, you are blessed. It’s nothing anyone would wish on their worst enemy for sure.
On the bright side, the geese have returned to our little lake here. I saw them flying over the tree tops yesterday and heard them send a greeting as they few over!
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Stop focusing on how stressed you are, and remember how blessed you are !
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5722. for batteries, of all kinds
5723. for feeling better each day
5724. for warmer temps coming our way
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Hoping you continue to get better with each passing day, MA. I had that flu too, in January, and oh my goodness I was so sick. So I feel your pain. Rest, don't push yourself, and get well soon. Lovingly~ Andrea xxx
Batteries are such a key part of our lives, I'm not sure what we'd do without. My mother used "Spring Forward" and "Fall Back" as reminders to change the batteries in her smoke detectors; guess that's something I'll have to get used to again. (Time change, that is.)
Love where you found a spot to display your flag!
I am glad that you are starting to feel better Pam! I hope each day brings you much more energy and that you are soon back to normal. Sending you extra love and hugs and prayers for continued healing! xoxo
