The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day which recognizes that everyones spills a little milk now and then. It’s a day to optimistic, think positive, look on the bright side, and find something good in everything that happens.
We all know that bad stuff happens and when it does, don’t worry or fret or cry over it. Rather take a positive attitude and fix it or get past it.
Don’t worry about the little things that are in the past, instead focus on the wonderful things that are headed your way.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I don’t like looking back. I’m always constantly looking forward. I’m not one to sort of sit and cry over spilt milk. I’m too busy looking for the next cow.
Gordon Ramsy
Looking on the bright side of life is something I have made a way of life. Every day may not be a good one, but there is something good in every day when we take the time to look for it. Life is just too short to be anything but happy.
Although it is looking like we may a slippery slope to travel today, hopefully I’ll get out to church this morning and then home again for my Sunday rest.
The week ahead looks to be another busy one here at my house, so I'm taking the time to rest up. Believe me I have plenty of comfort food on hand too. It will be a cozy and comfortable day for me.
Sometimes I feel a little guilty that I do rest more than I work, but then it wasn’t always like this so I feel like this time of my life is my just rewards. I’m just so thankful I can enjoy it all.
They say that everyday is a celebration!
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
It is no use now a-cryin’ over spilt milk;
What can’t be cured, must be endured.

Yes, indeed, Ma.... "our just reward" for a busy earlier life. I too rest lots more than I work but that's ok. My body & spirit both tell me it's ok. :-) Lovingly, Andrea (from my new "home" on Blogger: formerly DanMyMan & Me) xoxo
Peppermint Patties used to be my go-to treat at the movie theater!
Yes, in the period of transition. I'm having to amp up my reminders-to-self ... to pay attention and appreciate the "right now." Just the other morning I asked Google-girl in my phone to play, "We May Never Pass This Way Again."
