Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Look for Circles Day is celebrated on November 2nd. To take part in Look for Circles Day means to simply follow the instructions of the date. Circles are everywhere. The wheels of cars, bubbles in the bathroom or the mysterious crop circles are only some examples. If you go out on Look for Circles Day you probably will find a lot of more circles than you would ever have expected. Circles are symbols of infinity as they have a line that never ends.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Our family is a circle of strength and love, with every birth and every union, the circle will grow, every joy shared adds more love, every crisis faced together, makes the circle stronger.

It’s an amazing world and when you think about how many circles there are, including life itself, we can’t help but think about how important they are.
We draw circles around dates on the calendar that are important. We sometimes walk in circles and we join circles of friends and family to celebrate the good times.
We are to have some lovely days in the 70’s this week. What a blessing to have days like these the first week of November. It’s the perfect time to get out and about and maybe get some Christmas shopping done. It will certainly be better than slipping and sliding around in the snow later on.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
All my life's a circle; Sunrise and sundown; Moon rolls thru the nighttime; Till the daybreak comes around.
Harry Chapin
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3274. for the circle of life that has no end
3275. for sewing circles, knitting circles and reading circles, and circles of friends
3276. for our world that circles the sun each day
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
52 Days Until Christmas
It’s time to Repurpose, Recycle and Reduce the Trick or Treat Haul. I didn’t give out candy for Halloween this year, I gave out bags of snack like chips, pretzels and cheese doodles. But still I have a lot of them leftover. We only had about 40 come begging at the door and I was prepared for at least twice that many.
We can set aside colorful hard candies to decorate a gingerbread house; foil wrapped chocolate kisses can be recycled as Chocolate Kiss Christmas Trees, or added to Thanksgiving Blessing Mix or Snowman Soup. Recipes for these will be forthcoming.
Crumbled Butterfinger brand candy bars can be sprinkled over ice cream for an easy week night dessert and plain chocolate bars, coarsely chopped can replace chocolate chips in chocolate chip cookies.
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
In helping others, we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us.
Flora Edwards
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma
You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought

I like the Look for Circles Day. Could be fun for parents with young children to play it when they are driving in a car or even around the house looking for circles. I looked around the room while I am typing this comment and saw circles in the clock, on the knobs on the stereo, around the logo on the computer, etc, and that was just by quickly looking.
Glad to hear the weather will be nice and pleasant this week. Perhaps a touch of Indian Summer?

I love Look for Circles Day too. I only have a moment but wanted to thank you for being so faithful in your blogging. I once was able too and miss being able to write as often. BUT...being able to visit here always reminds me of something good, something I may have forgotten, and always....something new. Big hugs and much love.
