Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
The first Saturday of June is National Trails Day. It’s a day to celebrate, improve and enjoy America's magnificent trail system. It is the nation's largest celebration of trails, and all that goes with it. In addition to the national trail system, there are countless miles of state, county and local town trail systems for you enjoy. While today is a celebration of national trails, it is perfectly fine to celebrate all trails in our great nation.
Happy Trails to you !

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
One step at a time is good walking.
Chinese proverb
I used to be a hiker and took many walks on trails in the woods. Thankfully we do have a wonderful park system that provides all sorts of paths to walk and beautiful sights to see. But my hiking days are behind me now and more than not my daily walk is here around the yard.
Taking it one step at a time, one moment at a time is how I try to live my life. I’ve learned this lesson well.
So most days I share pictures of what sights I see right here at home because my world has become smaller but I must say it is just as wonderful. There is something new and exciting about each day. Every day is beautiful.
The main thing is that I still take those steps and enjoy them too.
I tried a new recipe this week that turned out really good so I wanted to share it with you all today.
Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing.
4 thawed boneless chicken breasts
1 box Stuffing Mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup water
Place chicken breasts in bottom of crockpot. Pour stuffing mix over chicken. In a medium size bowl combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream and water; mix well. Pour on top pf stuffing mix.
Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours. Fluff and serve.
It was tasty !
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
2829. for the beautiful things to see each day
2830. for nature, the flowers, the trees, the sun and the moon
2831. for feet that still move, one step at a time
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It’s the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here’s a happy one for you.

You have a great "state of mind". I love the way you think!
Your photos are pretty!
I love what you said on the post I left at Seashells and Lavender. Life is too short to carry the burden of unforgiveness. Wise words.
Enjoy your Saturday.

This recipe looks yummy! Since we've pretty much quit turning on the oven for the next 4-5 months, I love any and all crockpot suggestions!
Yum on that recipe, Ma! Definitely going to try it! Lots of trails here to hike; we've done a few, might have to wait until it cools down a bit before we do more.
