40 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!
Sunrise:7:32 am
Sunset: 5:54 pm
Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
When it comes to holidays, February 8th has a little something for everyone. Not only is it Boy Scouts Day, Kite Flying Day and Smile Day, it's also Laugh and Get Rich Day! Laugh and Get Rich Day is all about enjoying our daily jobs to the point that we can laugh each and every day and still make money while doing it.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A man isn't poor if he can still laugh.
Laughing really does do the body good. It increases happiness and it also triggers healthy physical changes in the body by strengthening your immune system, boosting your energy, diminishing pain, and protecting you from the damaging effects of stress. So stop working for a few minutes and just give yourself a good laugh fest. Everyone can use it.
The picture below is of our little Xfactor having breakfast with grand’ma’ one morning this week and the others were taken around my house. I’ve put out what few Valentine decorations I have and don’t want to post more pictures of the snow outside.
BrrrChill!
It’s cold but calm here this morning!
Hope you all have super Saturday everyone!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Mirth is God's medicine. Everybody ought to bathe in it.
Henry Ward Beecher
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1388. for the abundant wealth of laughter in my life
1389. for a calm but cold day in February, another 2 to 4 coming our way
1390. for baby wipes, they do have a multitude of uses
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it.
Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

What a sweet little cutie you have there. I haven't decorated any for Valintines, but I've been eating the candy. Lol. Take care. Jean
