Be it any party, you can always make it fantastic with the goodness of fruit punch and quench your thirst.

I happen to own a punch bowl and get it out often to serve punch in when we have a party. I serve a punch made with cranapple juice, ginger ale and sherbet. It is called frothy slash and the kids love it! The sherbet in the punch is what makes it froth up! It’s a family friendly punch recipe with no alcohol. For today, I’m sharing pictures of my punchbowl.
I forgot to share my Monday recipe yesterday so I’m sharing it today. On the menu is:
Spicy Touchdown Chili
Makes 12 servings
1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb pork sausage
2 cans, 16 oz, each kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans 15 oz each pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans, 14.5 oz each diced tomatoes with mild green chilies, undrained
1 can 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes with onions, undrained
1 can, 12 oz. beer
6 bacon strips cooked and crumbled.
1 onion chopped
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeño slices
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp.dried basil
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Optional; Shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and chopped green onions.
In a large skillet cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Crumble beef, drain. Transfer to a slow cooker Repeat with sausage.
Stir in the next 13 ingredients, Cook covered on low heat 4 to 5 hours. If desired, top individual servings with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chopped green onion.
I don’t use the jalapeño peppers as I like my chili on the mild side. Our weather is supposed to turn chilly this week so it will be good to have a hot bowl of chili to eat. This makes enough for a crowd, so I’ll be cutting this recipe in half.
Tomorrow we’ll be in the 80’s but come Thursday, our high will be in the low 60’s.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday !
The special thing about punch is that all kids and adults love it.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
10,630 for a punchbowl to use at parties
10,631. for some hot chili on a chilly day
10,632. for frothy slosh for the kids to enjoy
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Fall is coming and there will be a lot of parties going on. Enjoy some Punch!
That's interesting about punch's origin! Sounds almost like a poser on Jeopardy.
Your chili recipe sounds much like mine, except I don't put beans in mine. It's all good, and good for us!
We do like punch, but I cannot remember a time we served punch. If we did my Sherry will tell me once she reads our comment. LOL IT is always good to be thankful and remember those times and things...
Be safe, Sherry & jack smiling...
