Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

A good neighbor is a found treasure.
I wish you were my neighbor!
It is true, good neighbors are very important.
We have had some rough times with bad neighbors but all you can do is to be the best neighbor that YOU can be and hope for the best.
Most of our neighbors work (outside their homes) full-time so we've had little interaction. Still, a couple of the men know Tom's willing to share his tools. Oh, and a couple years ago after a bad storm the lady across the street came over unannounced and started dragging tree limbs/debris across the street for pick-up. Whether they know one another (or not), I'm thinking there's a lot of neighborly aid going on in Florida this morning.
Neighbors were part of our small town life. I miss that.
