ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is International Jugglers Day which celebrates the skill of juggling, and those talented people who can juggle many balls and objects at one time. The best can juggle up to 10 balls at a time.
Juggling is a skill and a form of entertainment that has been around for thousands of years. It is most well documented in Medieval time in Europe. It is still popular today and can most frequently be seen when the circus comes to town.
Some might suggest that office workers are jugglers as they multi task and keep serval balls, projects, going at the same time.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Imagine life as a game in which you're a juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work family, health, friends and spirit - you're keeping all these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will soon bounce back. But the other four balls - family health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. I you drop one of these they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

Life is a a Juggling act at times. They say that any one can learn to juggle, but I’m not a juggler and and can’t multi task very well at all. I do better when I stay focused on one job at at time and don’t like to start another project until I get the first one done. Still it seems I find myself doing just that about every day.
I can be doing the laundry and vacuuming the floor at the same time. I guess we all do things like that at one time or another. It’s a good thing my dryer has a buzzer on it to let me know when it’s done.
It’s easy to forget what we are doing due to a distraction or an interruption. I had two things to do yesterday. I wanted to water my plants and rewind the mantle clock as I’d let it run completely down. But first I wanted to take the garbage out. Truth be told I never got those 2 things done. I forgot and went on to other things. Maybe I’ll get them done today. We’ll see...
I took the promised 15 minutes of my time yesterday and got a little more of my closet cleaning done. At this rate I should be done by next week. These 15 minutes are over and above the usual daily tasks. Things that I tend to put off. Spring cleaning is on the list next. One room at a time and 15 minutes at a time. I’m sure to be finished before Summer arrives. :.)
The pictures today are of a fun day last spring with DD and our little X factor. Good memories can keep us warm, even on a chilly day.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude
Cynthia Ozick
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5897. for jugglers of all kinds
5898. for plans that work, 15 minutes at a time
5899. for warm winter clothes, which should be packed away by now
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Only one thing has to change for us to know happiness in our lives: where we focus our attention.

Love the pics of your family!
Louis Dean worked at Home Depot for a couple of years after we got married. His boss really understood him. He told someone that you can give Louis Dean three things and three things only to do and one of them can’t be a list! That was right on target he loses his focus if he has more than three tasks to do or even three things to get in a store! Speaking of stores.....I need to get up and ready so we can drive into Waco for more paint this morning!
That parable of the 5 balls is such a truism!!! You being an office manager, I'm sure you can empathize with multi-tasking. I never enjoyed it, either.
I had to giggle at your mention of the closet. It's not something I normally do, but the first week we got here, I got 'in the zone.' Tom observed, "Rome's burning, and Myra's organizing her clothes closet by hue." (guilty ...)
Your daughter is beautiful!
What a fantastic post here with a very wonderful message! Not sure how I landed here, but I am glad I found you! God Bless you and yours on this fine day! Gotta go and juggle abit... Aloha!
Looked like fun at the park from a year ago; always fun to go outside and play and run some energy off the young ones!
I think motherhood is the biggest juggling act of all. It is something we need to make sure we don't drop the other balls though of our lives when we are raising the kids. Definitely a balancing act indeed!
Good for you you got the 15 minutes done of organizing that you wanted to yesterday and the end is in sight in a reasonable amount of time!
