ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Earth Day which celebrates the natural beauty of our planet and it reminds us of what we can do to keep it healthy. Earth Day raises awareness about important environmental issues.
Little things matter — turning off a light, joining a car pool, or planting a tree.
Happy Earth Day !
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The earth is what we all have in common.
Wendel Berry
We can all do a little bit every day to help keep our world the beautiful place it is meant to be. For years our schools gave out young trees and we planted them in the front yard. There are lots of other ways we can help too. Our land fills are full of things that could have been recycled or reused.
I am a nature lover and love being outside. There is so much to enjoy in our world but I really don’t need to travel to see it, I’m happy just sitting on the porch and taking it all in. It’s fun to sit and watch the birds, the squirrels, the clouds drift by or a sunrise or sunset and I’m very thankful for it all.
It’s another Sunday morning here and as usual I’m off to church and then home for a day of rest. It’s to be a little warmer than yesterday and partly sunny. We don’t have leaves on the trees yet, but will soon. The pictures are from last Spring.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The earth is a fine place and worth fighting for.
Ernest Hemingway
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5909. for our Earth and all it’s beauty
5910. for those that reduce, reuse, and recycle
5911. for a day to rest and relax out on the porch
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
Margaret Mead
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

I like that so much can be recycled these days. Our recycle bin is often more fuller than our trash one. God gave us a beautiful world, now it is our responsibility to try to keep it that way. Have a relaxful Sunday!

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!
So glad to hear Spring seems to have finally arrived in your part of the world!
Admittedly, it took me a long time to climb aboard the Recycling movement, but I embraced it ... only to discover here in Coosada, they've no provision/offerings for separating plastics, metal cans, etc. from our regular garbage. What a shame!
