ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Blah, Blah, Blah Day which might just be the Blah-est day of the year. The intent of this day is to do all the projects and things that people have been nagging you to do. The ‘to do’ list or job jar is a top target for today. It’s a day to stop procrastinating and get to grips with all those things that need to be done before the blahs and the blues strike all over again.
It’s also Tax Day and checking this particular item off your do list is definitely worth celebrating. You won’t have to worry about taxes again for a whole year!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
To do or not to do, that is the question…
Today is a good day for me to face the good, the bad and the ugly. I have a TO DO list that’s a mile long. I am good at procrastinating and putting things off till they just cannot wait any longer. I usually do what needs done, but nothing extra and feel pretty blessed to just do that.
However there comes a time when the extras just won’t wait any longer. Things can pile up pretty fast and when the pile gets too high, it falls over.
Starting today I’m going to take an extra 15 minutes to tackle that ugly pile each day, until eventually everything gets done. 15 minutes out of every day doesn’t sound like much at all, but hopefully it will make a difference.
Making plans and getting things done can often be two very different things. We’ll see…
That ’S’ word is in the forecast again today. Hopefully not. Spring has been put on hold again. Having things freeze up again tends to make us want to hit the reset button for sure.
On the bright side, I’m to meet up with an old friend for lunch today. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen her so it should be fun catching up.
Todays pictures are all about celebrations. DD and her hubby got a new car, DDIL #1 and our Sweetheart celebrated the last hockey game of the season, our Star celebrated getting accepted to the college of his choice and our Princess got an award for her volunteer service.
Congrats to all of them for a job well done !
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5894. for a plan to get things done
5895. for reset buttons, very useful in some cases
5896. for lists that help keep me on track
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
There are good days and there are bad days, and this is one of them.

Good morning! Lots of good things to celebrate in your family today!
I hope the ‘S’ does not happen. There are wild fires in Oklahoma, green grass all over Texas and yet winter remains in place up north!
Good luck on your to do list! I love the feeling of accomplishing something I’ve been putting off. So many times the doing of it is far easier than the dread of it!
I’ll be painting wall boards today and doing my art projects between the boards drying and putting on another coat. Wind is really blowing from the south today so they should dry fast!
Enjoy your lunch with a friend!
So many accomplishments in your family! Congrats to all! Getting into the college of his choice is a great thing for your Star and what an achievement to get an award for volunteering, especially at such a young age! Always good to wrap up a season of sports until the next season comes along! And nothing better than a new car with the new car smell and then the safety that comes along having a car that won't break down along the way.
Fifteen minutes daily to tackle a pile seems like a reasonable goal, Ma. Easy to fit into your day and still gives you plenty of time to enjoy what you want to do for the rest of the day.
Enjoy having lunch with your friend; we are getting together today too with a friend we haven't seen in over a year for lunch :)

I like the idea of just taking 15 minutes and do something on the To Do list. Maybe that will get me kick started!
Me, too! 15 minutes never killed anyone and a little-at-time is the most logical solution.
Love your grandson's body language/expression in Image #1 ... I imagine he's ready to get behind the wheel any day now. :)
'Hope your luncheon was great fun!
