ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Take a Chance Day which encourages us to break out of our comfort zone and take chances to do things that we were always afraid to do. Life is full of risks and sometimes we have take a chance to get what we want.
Every one has taken chances at some time in their life. For example when we learn to walk we have to take that first step and then deal with the consequences of falling.
Half the fun in life is in taking chances and risks and doing new things that have to potential to be amazing. Today is the day to take a chance, you won’t regret it.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Take risks: if you win, you will be happy; if you lose, you will be wise.

It was a wonderful weekend here with temps around 50 degrees. We still had to wear jackets when outside, but not the heavy winter coats we had been wearing. It felt great to be a little lighter.
Today I’m going to take a chance and put those winter coats away for the season. They’ll be be getting a good cleaning then go to the back of the closet where they will stay stored away until winter returns.
We’re to be in the 60’s closing in on 70 degrees today and the sun is going to shine.
Today's pictures are of our Mr. Wonderful’s special celebration this past Saturday!
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!

Oh, I dearly love that last photo of you and Mr. Wonderful!
I’m so glad you are finally getting spring weather! Texas has had two good springs in a row. Some years it seems we skip spring altogether and go straight to Summer!
Taking chances takes courage. It took all the courage I could muster up and all the faith I had to take a chance and change my life back in 2001. By 2004 I was divorced after a long 41 year marriage where anniversaries were not celebrated but survived. Being alone was far better and I had the full support of all four of my children. Divorce did not divide our family but restored it and redeemed it in a way. Then in 2005 I took just as big a chance in marrying again. Once again, my life changed and I could not be happier. It seems that God saved the last years of my life for the best years of my life and I am truly and profoundly grateful.
I liked all the pictures of Mr. Wonderful's special day, but especially liked the last picture with the two of you! Sounded like a very nice weekend coupled with warmer weather, which I hope sticks around and that it will be a LONG time before you need to get the winter clothes out to wear again. It is always good to take chances and like the quote said, even if it doesn't work out, at least we get wise from them. I'm sure a lot of things we take for granted now with technology, if someone hadn't taken the chance to invent them we would be without, so grateful that people are willing indeed to take chances!

How handsome and proud! Mr. Wonderful appears! Echoing Betty and Linda, that last photo is wonderful! (Yours is sure a pretty scarf!)
"You can't steal 2nd base and keep your foot on 1st." Sports fan or not, now THAT's relatable!
Belated Birthday greetings to your Mr Wonderful! Love the last photo most of all. I can see you in him! How very special that you get to enjoy these family times together! xoxo
