ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
MARCH 8TH, 2010
It's MONDAY!
BACK TO WORK !
The weekend went by so fast that I hardly knew it was here. Now it’s a new work week and I’m not at all ready for it. Nothing was done at home the entire weekend so I’ll be playing catch up this week for sure.
THINKING
The heart sees what eyes cannot see.
Today: Pray with thanks for your job if you have one and pray for those who do not have one.
One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see
John 9:25
NEW IN THE KITCHEN
Monday is leftovers day at my house and this week I have leftover coconut shrimp and fries for dinner. Red Lobster never fails to make them just the way I like them.
The dinner is always way too big for me so I brought home leftovers for dinner tonight.
Thank you DD and DSIL, and DS#5 and DDIL#5 for dinner again tonight!
PRAYERS
God our Father, by your gifts to us on earth we already share in your life. In all we do, guide us to the light of your kingdom
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
AROUND HOME
I’m now on route 66 and waiting to see what new and exciting this will be around the bend in the road. It will be a thrilling year I’m sure.
There is just nothing going on here after work this week but homework. I’ve got a little bit of everything that needs to be done. Don’t know exactly how much will be accomplished at all, but something is better than nothing
The snow is slowly receding and you can now see grass along the edges of the sidewalks and I spied some daffodils starting to come up along the driveway next to the house, but otherwise the yard itself is still snow covered.
FAMILY
You've got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather was.
Irish Proverb
Each of us is unique for sure. Each having a mixture of inherited genes but also some of our very own. No two alike in this whole universe. It’s amazing that some can show a strong resemblance and others strong mannerisms. We need never compare ourselves or discount our actions though as belonging to a forefather…we are our own individuals.
COUNTING THE DAYS
There is a time for departure even when there's no certain place to go
Tennessee Williams
12 DAYS UNTIL SPRING !
39 DAYS UNTIL CAMPING SEASON BEGINS
24 DAYS UNTIL MA RETIRES
Keep looking ON THE BRIGHT SIDE of things.
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone near…
Love,
ma

I am very happy for you that you are retiring. No more cold mornings and having to shovel snow.
Sounds like things are going to be alot better and easier for you in the years to come.
