I’m off this morning to take the Silver Streak in for her oil change etc. I shouldn’t be gone long as I don’t think there is any repairs or anything wrong.

THINKING
This Sunday is Palm Sunday and we begin the final week of Lent
Here are some timely tips for a good start to holy week
Make Easter cards
Palms can be woven to decorate your home
clean house before sundown on Holy Thursday
Keep Good Friday as a quiet day and turn off the noise
Have hot cross buns as a traditional good Friday food
Easter day set out a decorated cross, candles, eggs, candy and other treats to celebrate the new life we've been given
Today: Fast from holding on tight and trying to control life
NEW IN THE KITCHEN
An easy dish for those busy Saturdays…
HAMBURGER STROGANOFF
1 onion, minced
1 lb ground beef or ground turkey (or 1/2 and 1/2)
1 garlic clove, minced
2 teaspoons flour
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons catsup
1/2-1 cup sour cream
parsley or chives or dill
Brown ground beef with onion until beef is no longer pink and onion is clear; add garlic and mushrooms; sauté about 2 minute
Drain excess fat.
Add soup and remaining ingredients except sour cream.
Simmer uncovered 15 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and parsley, chives or dill.
Serve with rice or noodles.
I always like to add my noodles to the mixture and let it all simmer together for about 15 minutes before serving

your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.

selfless acts they perform for us

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

and Paramedics and EMT's!!!

AROUND HOME
We had snow and most of it melted when the sun came out yesterday, but it remained very cold and windy.
Today they say it will warm up a bit.
