TODAY’S QUOTE
On the wind in February

IT’S SUNDAY !!
Our weekend meltdown continues today. I guess it won’t be quite as warm as Saturday was, but I see in the forecast that we may reach the 50’s on Monday and by midweek lots of rain coming our way. The piles of snow are dwindling for sure. They will soon be a thing of the past
Saturday was pretty quiet except for a call from DS#2. His town was having a Mardi gras parade that he was going to see. That is something we don’t see much of in Northern Ohio for sure. He is leaving on another trip for his work. This is an ongoing thing for him it seems. He has more coming up in March too.
It won’t be long now til Lent begins.
The nice thing is that Spring and Easter are sure to follow.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
May the God of peace, Jesus our Lord,
furnish you with all that is good, that you may do His will
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY’S SMILE
I Love You Anyway
The fear of rejection may be one of the most basic fears of the human experience. Dr. Joe Harding tells a heart-warming story of a man who finally decided to ask his boss for a raise in salary. It was Friday. He told his wife that morning what he was about to do, All day the man felt nervous and apprehensive. Late in the afternoon he summoned the courage to approach his employer. To his delight, the boss agreed to a raise.
The man arrived home to a beautiful table set with their best china. Candles were lighted. His wife had prepared a festive meal. Immediately he figured that someone from the office had tipped her off! Finding his wife in the kitchen, he told her the good news. They embraced and kissed, then sat down to a wonderful meal. Next to his plate the man found a beautiful lettered note. It read: "Congratulations, darling! I knew you'd get the raise! These things will tell you how much I love you."
While on his way to the kitchen to get dessert he noticed that a second card had fallen from her pocket. Picking it off the floor, he read: "Don't worry about not getting the raise! You deserve it anyway! These things will tell you how much I love you." Total acceptance! Total love.
Her love for him was not contingent upon his success at work. In fact, just the opposite. If he were to fail there, if he were to be rejected by his boss he'd be all the more accepted at home. She stood behind him no matter what; softening the blows, healing the wounds, believing in him, loving him.
We can be rejected by almost anyone if we're loved by one. That's the way families can be with each other. And I like to think that's the way God is with us, too! "We love because He first loved us."

TODAY’S WORD
Audacious aw-DAY-shus, adjective
Daring, bold
insolent
marked by originality and verve
Audacious itself was something of an innovation in the 16th century: it was one of the earliest "-acious" words in English.
TODAY’S REFLECTION
The Apostles gathered together with Jesus and reported
all they had done and taught. He said to them,
Come away by yourselves to a deserted place
and rest a while.
Mark 6: 30-34
Jesus often withdrew by himself or with his apostles to pray in some quiet, out-of-the–way place. And he encouraged us to do the same. It is in these quiet times with the Lord that we begin to experience the truth
We always seek to spend time with people who are important to us. What could be more important than deepening our relationship with Jesus, the lover of our souls and the source of all life and truth
TODAY’S ADVICE
Place new packages of flour and grain in the freezer for seven days to kill any stowaway pests, then transfer the food to air-tight containers to prevent any "newcomers" from taking up residence
40 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!
AND 54 DAYS UNTIL CAMPING SEASON BEGINS
Delight yourself in the Lord
May there be a miracle in YOUR life today
and may you have the EYES to SEE it!
I Love You All !!!
Be Blessed !!!
