IT’S SUNDAY !!
I know we are all very tired of winter so I thought I’d put some spring graphics in my newsletter today. They looked so bright and cheery I couldn’t help myself.
I really got in the Spring like frame of mind after shopping yesterday. All the stores were full of nice colorful clothing for warmer weather. I probably out did my self shopping but the sales were great. I told DD that after next year I won’t be able to shop like this so I had to take advantage of it now.
Hopefully I’ll retire in 2010.
Today after my trip to church, I’ll have to make up for not being at home yesterday. The laundry needs to be done and things put in order for the new work week ahead.
I’ll have some pictures of my shopping spree on my journal page if you want to take a look. It’s a good thing I only do this once a year.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, help me see the ways I'm too self-centered this week. Help me notice the needs of those you place in my life. Stretch my heart to love more today
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…

and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY’S SMILE
A couple of short ones today…
Todd and Jill went to a "Dude Ranch" while in Texas. The cowboy preparing the horses asked if she wanted a Western or English saddle, and she asked what the difference was.He told her one had a horn and one didn't.Jill replied, "The one without the horn is fine. I don't expect we'll run into too much traffic out here."
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?"
The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow and rested. All of a sudden a fox appeared that jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
The moral of this story is simple: to be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up
WHAT IS YOUR VALENTINES DAY PERSONALITY
http://feeds.blogthings.com/whatsyourvalentinesdaypersonalityquiz/
This is what mine said…
You think of Valentine's Day as the perfect chance to show people you care. It's not exclusively a romantic holiday for you. You like to celebrate with your friends too.Valentine's Day makes you nostalgic for cute cards and cheap candies. You love the idea of a Valentine's Day where everyone feels included
I know Valentine Day is over but it was a fun thing to do!

TODAY’S REFLECTION
A leper came to Jesus and kneeling down begged him and said, "If you wish, you can make me clean." Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, I do will it. Be made clean.
Mark 1:40
Jesus touches us in the very condition we wish we were not. The leper can never pretend he wasn’t unclean. Facing the truth about ourselves isn’t easy. Our belief in Jesus removes the spots of darkness and the pretenses of our being angelic. Jesus continues standing next to us when we choose to go outside, because we cannot stand ourselves. That, right there, is our twenty-first century form of leprosy and He still waits to grace it.
No one who sought Jesus out was refused his help.
TODAY’S ADVICE
If the first bird a maiden sees today is a sparrow,
she will marry a farmer
