TODAY'S THOUGHT
The unfortunate thing about this world is that good habits are so much easier to give up than bad ones
Somerset Maugham
TODAY’S ACTION
The best way to break a bad habit is to drop it
Leo Aikman
TODAY’S QUOTE
Cultivate only the habits that you are willing should master you
Elbert Hubbard
IT’S THURSDAY !!
We are on the downhill slide now into the weekend. The weather has warmed up into the 40’s and lots more melting of snow has been going on. I noticed the last of the piles have disappeared at work, but my front yard where it is shady all day still has some.
The days are really getting longer now. I’ve not been totally in the dark on my way into work for the last couple days. March 8th we set the clocks ahead so for a couple of weeks then I’ll go back to being in the dark, but that won’t last long. I love being able to see where I’m going in the morning.
One of my online devotional sites had this to say about Ash Wednesday.
Today is not about doom, gloom or negativity. It’s a day to celebrate the gift of now and the gift of today. Ash Wednesday reminds us that we don’t go on forever and the coming weeks of Lent are an opportunity to delight in the gifts of each and every day
It is so true. We really need to appreciate and celebrate each day.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, may everything we do begin with your inspiration, continue with your help, and reach perfection under your guidance
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

I heard once that it takes 21 days to form a habit. I wonder if it works the same way to break a habit?
I am a quote junkie and there are always so many to collect here. I love the book ones! And do you know what I really love? I love the graphic of that wonderful chair just begging me to sit down and read my stack of books!
Thanks so much for all your sweet comments about Sarah and Bennie's baby news. I know that only a grandmother can truly appreciate the joy we feel. You are so very sweet!
