TODAY'S THOUGHT

TODAY’S ACTION
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap,
but by the seeds you plant.
Robert Louis Stevenson
TODAY’S QUOTE
Kindness is in our power, even when fondness is not
Samuel Johnson
IT’S TUESDAY !!
I survived Monday now we’ll see how Tuesday goes.
As the week goes on here we are supposed to get a little warmer.
Thank the good Lord for his many blessings. I’m so tired of being cold.
February is almost over and in a few short months, I’ll probably be saying I’m hot. Right now that sounds pretty good to me.
It is Pancake Tuesday today and I have great plans on making a batch of pancakes tonight for my supper. I can usually freeze what ever is left and eat them later and they still taste as good as when I first made them.
On my calendar for today it says in 1993 we had 21 inches of snow on the ground on this date. It tied a record with 1950 and 1978.
I for one do not want to set any more records .
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord Jesus, help me to trust you in all situations
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY’S SMILE
The Fathers of 1900 and the Fathers of Today
The legend of the raindrop
Has a lesson for us all
As it trembled in the the Heavens
Questioning if it should fall
For the glistening raindrop argued
By the genie of the sky
I am beautiful and lovely
As a sparkle here on high
And hanging here
I will become
Part of the rainbow's hue
And I'll shimmer like a diamond
For all the world to view
But the genie told the raindrop
"Why do you hesitate to go?"
For you will be more beautiful
If you fall to earth below
For you will sink in the soil
And be at lost awhile from sight
But when you reappear on earth
You will be looked upon with delight
For you will be the raindrop
That quenched the thirsty ground
And helped the lovely flowers
To blossom all around
And in your resurrection
You'll appear in queenly clothes
With the beauty of the sky
And the fragrance of the rose
For there is nothing lost
Or eternally neglected
For everything God ever made
Is always resurrected
So trust God's all wise wisdom
And doubt the Father never
For in His Heavenly Kingdom
There is nothing lost forever

TODAY’S REFLECTION
All things can be done for the one who believes
Mark 9:23
A man approached Jesus and asked him if he could cure his son, as his disciples had been unable to do so. The awestruck disciples questioned Jesus as to why they were unable to effect a cure. Jesus answer was that faith in God's power must be accompanied by prayer. Faith is not a matter of performing miracles as much as it is a matter of prayer
