IT’S SATURDAY !!

I’ve got to say it once more…I do just love Saturday mornings. What a relief not to have to hop out of bed and head off to work. Thank the dear Lord for weekends.

I got my annual treat of Polish Paczki that is made at one of our local bakeries. It is a special donut like confection that is made each year before Lent begins. Paczki Day is officially this coming Tuesday, but I got my supply early. So I’ll be having one of those with my coffee this morning.



If the weather permits, I’ll be joining some of our camping friends for lunch today. DD and her hubby are picking me up and even DS#1 and his family hope to make it. Several of the people that camp up on ‘party hill’ near us will be there too. We are all longing for Spring and are ready for a new camping season.

They are calling for snow here today. There is a front coming that will hopefully stay north of us so we won’t be affected very much, if however it decides to blow our way we could get heavy snow. By evening another lake effect snow could come our way, bringing even more snow. We are bound to get some more one way or another.
