A HOUSE is built of logs and stone,
Of piles and post and piers;
A HOME is built of loving deeds
That stand a thousand years.

TODAY’S QUOTE
It helps to write down half a dozen things which are worrying me. Two of them, say, disappear; about two of them nothing can be done, so it's no use worrying; and two perhaps can be settled.
Winston Churchill
IT’S FINALLY FRIDAY !!
BRRR CHILL!
We are having a cold spell for sure. The wind is blowing and the snow is falling. All and all yesterday we didn’t get much but more is on the way they say. It was one of those white knuckle rides into work yesterday morning so I’m hoping that today is better. Like I said there wasn’t much snow, but there was a crust of ice over the roads.
It seems our town doesn’t like to get out with the salt to melt it til after I go to work. I slid through one stop sign completely. First time I’ve done that in a long time. Last time too I hope. Then what snow was falling was blowing so hard across the road in places you couldn’t tell where the road went to.
It looks like a good 3 inches on the ground this morning !
Take good care all !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S SMILE
Laughter is like changing a baby's diaper. It doesn't permanently solve any problems, but it makes thing more acceptable for awhile.
Barbara Johnson
Once there was a family that was not rich and not poor.
They lived in Ohio in a small country house. One night they
all sat down for dinner, and there was a knock at the door.
The father went to the door and opened it.
There stood an old man in tattered clothes, with ripped
pants and missing buttons. He was carrying a basket full ofvegetables.. He asked the family if they wanted to buy somevegetables from him.
They quickly did because they wanted
him to leave.
Over time, the family and the old man became friends.
The man brought vegetables to the family every week. They
soon found out that he was almost blind and had
cataracts onhis eyes. But he was so friendly that they learned to look
forward to his visits and started to enjoy his company.
One day as he was delivering the vegetables, he said,
"I had the greatest blessing yesterday! I found a basket of
clothes outside my house that someone had left for me."
The family, knowing that he needed clothes, said, "How
wonderful!"
The old blind man said, "The most wonderful part is
that I found a family that really needed the clothes

TODAY’S REFLECTION
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" - but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:910
God designed and created Earth as a gift of love to humanity. Over time, God's original design for us and for our world has been marred and forgotten, but studying God's word can help us recapture a vision of relationships and the earth as God wants them to be.
The Bible gives us guidelines for loving relationships and guides us toward all that God intends us to be. As we live by its words, we will make real God's vision
