TODAY’S QUOTE
"Old times" never come back and I suppose it's just as well. What comes back is a new morning every day in the year, and that's better
George E. Woodberry
IT’S MONDAY !!
BACK TO WORK!
It was a nice weekend and very quiet except for my luncheon on Saturday.
We didn’t get much snow at all til Sunday evening. Now the ground is once more covered in white.
The week ahead looks to be a busy one all due to the beginning of Lent.
Wednesday I’ll go to evening services to receive my ashes.
Thursday evening is the usual Bible Study
And Friday evening will be Stations of the Cross at church.
I try to participate in as many things as I can during Lent. It is a way of preparing our hearts for Easter.
It will be another quiet day at work as there is still no one but me on the payroll. This week they are putting some of the men back to work so that is a good thing. Next Monday I’ll have more to do.
Take good care all !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, let us seek you out merely to see your beauty, not just in times of need or want. Help us learn to appreciate the splendor you have put before us
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
LUNCH WITH THE DOCTORS
Two doctors were having lunch at the park when they saw man approaching their way. His hands were clenched in tight fists, his knees pressed together towards the middle.
Said the first doctor, "Must be arthritis." Replied the second, "More like cerebral palsy."
By the then the man was in front of them. He asked, through clenched teeth, Excuse me, do you know where the nearest rest room is?
Take the Time
Why don't people stop and think
Why don't they ever see...
That one of life's most perfect gifts
Is theirs each day, for free?
Take the time to watch a sunset
Or walk through a summer shower
There's nothing so important
That it cannot wait an hour...
Take the time to say a prayer
Make love or make a friend,
Play with children, read a book
The learning shouldn't end.
Take time to say "I'm sorry"
And learn how to forgive.
Let justice, love and loyalty
Dictate the way you live.
Take the time and use it well
Or one day when you wake
You'll find that when you need it most
There's no time left to take!!
