TODAY’S QUOTE
Blessed is the person who can enjoy the small things, the common beauties, the little day-to-day events; sunshine on the fields, birds on the bough, breakfast, dinner, supper, the daily paper on the porch, a friend passing by. So many people who go afield for enjoyment leave it behind them at home
David Grayson, American writer
IT’S SUNDAY !!
R & R day has arrived and as always I’m enjoying the good cup of coffee here this morning. I saw an article that said 8 O’clock coffee has been rated better tasting than Starbuck’s now. So I got some and tried it out. It’s is good coffee. It’s not flavored like the others I’ve had lately, but it’s still a good smooth taste.
Our lunch together yesterday was great and we had no snow at all til just about the time we were leaving and then it was so wet it was almost like rain. I put pictures on my journal in the side bar if you want to take a look.
I also heard from DS#2 who has returned to his home now for a bit and he said it was 60 and sunny there. They were going to another Mardi Gras parade some place near by. He said all the towns around have them about every weekend til Lent. I asked him to send some pictures so hopefully he will. That is one thing we don’t have around here that I know of.
He’ll be off again on another work trip in the next couple weeks. So hopefully he can rest up a bit before taking off again.
I’ll be off to church a little bit later this morning and then home to put things right around here before the new work week begins.
Oh, and it’s my BIL’s birthday today so I’m sending birthday wishes his way too. Happy Birthday BIL and May the dear Lord bless you today and always!
Take good care All!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S SMILE
After being laid off from five different jobs in four months, Bill was hired by a warehouse. One day he lost control of a forklift and drove it off the loading dock.
Surveying the damage, the owner shook his head and said he'd have to withhold 10 percent of Bill's wages to pay for the repairs.
"How much will it cost?" asked Bill.
"About $4,500," said the owner.
"What a relief!" exclaimed Bill. "I've finally got job security!
