TODAY’S QUOTE
You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world's happiness now. How?By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discouraged.Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime
HAPPY THURSDAY !!
The weather man says we’ll have one more beautiful day before our temps start sliding down and the rain moves in. It has just been unbelievable weather for us in this part of the county. Last week we had those white flakes falling; this week is like late summer.
I got a surprise this week when I was informed payroll must be done on Friday. I didn’t even think about it as we have no Monday holiday coming up, but it seems they need 2 days processing our paychecks and Tuesday is Veterans Day and the banks will be closed.
I dislike Friday payrolls even more than Monday ones…two in one week is just too much. Thankfully it’ll be the last day of the work week!
Wonder what I’ll do on Monday??? Looks like a long week ahead.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…

A DAY OF DESTINY
(I read this yesterday and thought it worth sharing )
Today is a remarkable day in history as Barack Obama is to become the first black American President of the U.S.A He has talked a lot about change in recent months and days but he has especially asked us to believe that change is possible and that it starts with each person. Today that change has become a reality. His appeal is enormous. He is young, bright, energetic and full of life. As President of America he will inspire millions and be a source of hope for those who want something fresh and inspiring. His parents gave him an African name ‘Barack’ which translates as ‘Blessed’. As he begins a new journey today we ask God’s blessings on him. We pray that we will bring positive change, peace and a great sense of hope to people all over the U.S but also to people all over the world
I’m asking you to believe not just in my ability to bring about real change but I’m asking you to believe in yours.
Barack Obama

TODAY’S SMILE
A friend of mine jogs ten miles a day. If you ever catch me running ten miles in a row, tell the bus driver my arm is caught in the door.
Jeff Shaw
According to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more and more baby boomers and older people are getting hurt while lifting weights than ever before.
The most common injury in these age groups occurs when the person is moving the weights around in the closet to make room for their exercise bike.
Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do on a rainy afternoon.
