TODAY’S QUOTE
I have lived to thank God that all my prayers have not been answered.

HAPPY SUNDAY !!
I hope you all got up on time this morning. I cheated and changed some of my clocks yesterday afternoon. Today I’ll do the rest. How many clocks does one house need??? There is one in every room here and some rooms have 3.
I got my flu shot yesterday morning at the vocational school. The county health district has set up a flu clinic there. I was amazed because there wasn’t even a waiting line. Other years I’ve gone to our Community College when the flu clinic has been there and it always had a long line. Maybe I did it later than usual and that is why???
On my way home I stopped at a place called Farm Yard Flowers and Gifts. I’ve always wanted to stop there, but when I go by they are usually closed. I was rewarded by finding a few Christmas gifts. They were just setting up for Christmas and should have more later so I’ll go back again. It was a lovely place to visit with lots to see.
After that I did get into sorting away things and doing the laundry. I made so many trips up and down the stairs that today I will take a couple extra aspirin so I can continue. I’ll take it slow with my good cup of coffee this morning and go to church at 11, then I’ll come home and get back into it all.
At this rate things may look pretty good by the time next weekend is over.
I do hope so as I’ve got some decorative painting I want to get done for Christmas gifts and if I don’t start soon, it’ll be too late. That is always a fun thing for me to do, but it does take time.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS…PIGGY BANK DAY
During the Middle Ages, metal was expensive and rarely used for household utensils. They used orange clay called "pygg" to make dishes, pots and jars. And when people saved money at home, they put it in a "pygg jar". The name stuck long after the orange clay was forgotten. By the 18th century in England, the pygg jar had become the pig jar or pig bank. Eventually, potters cast the pig bank in the shape of this common name
