TODAY'S THOUGHT
Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light.

TODAY’S QUOTE
Never mistake knowledge for wisdom.
Sandra Carey
I’m doing this newsletter in the kitchen on the laptop. It’s been awhile since I’ve used it. As you see (I hope) it still works. For the winter months I’ll probably spend more time in the kitchen too as it is warmer in here than some of the other rooms of my house and it’s close to the coffee pot
The weatherman says winter is on the way. A cold front has moved our way and he even said by next weekend we may need to use the S--- SHOVELS. That is not very encouraging.
You all know how much I love S---
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS

our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
Some of Maxine's Top Tips for Entertaining:
When one hosts a dinner party, it is essential that all the place mats match, or, at the very least, that they all come from the same fast-food restaurant.
A good host must always be a STICKLER for attractive food presentation! I always take the foil COMPLETELY OFF the TV dinner before serving.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Make haste to help me, O Lord!
Psalm 70:1
Make haste to help me, O Lord!” the psalmist David prayed (Ps. 70:1). Like him, we don’t like to wait. We dislike the long lines at super-market checkout counters, and the traffic jams downtown and around shopping malls. We hate to wait at the bank or at a restaurant
And then there are the harder waits: a childless couple waiting for a child; a single person waiting for marriage; an addict waiting for deliverance; a spouse waiting for a kind and gentle word; a worried patient waiting for a diagnosis from a doctor.
What we wait for, however, is far less important than what God is doing while we wait. In such times He works in us to develop those hard-to-achieve spiritual virtues of meekness, kindness, and patience with others. But more important, we learn to lean on God alone and to “rejoice and be glad” in Him
God stretches our patience to enlarge our soul.
