TODAY’S QUOTE
Show up, pay attention, speak from the heart,
and don't be attached to the outcome.

IT’S FRIDAY !!
Thankfully our weather has cleared up a bit and all our travels back and forth from and to DS#3’s house have been safe ones. Today and tomorrow will be 2 of the most difficult trips to make no matter that the sun may shine and the roads are clear.
Today is the visitation which is private and open to only our family
And tomorrow is the funeral. Please keep my son and daughter in law in your prayers as they are physically and mentally drained.
May the dear Lord bless them with comfort and give them the strength they need to get through this most difficult time.
Our Thanksgiving day was a beautiful one full of family love and thanksgiving. Hopefully the good times they have all spent together will sustain them for the hard days ahead.
Celebrate the days as they come and keep the memories of them close to your heart. They will help when the bad times come and as we know they will come.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.
TODAY IS…POLEROID CAMERA DAY
Ok, who knows why they are called Land cameras? And, no, it's not because they don't work underwater.
They are named after Edwin Land, the man who invented the process of instant photography.

TODAY’S SMILE
A young polar bear cub approached his mother one day and asked, "Mom, am I a polar bear?"
"Of course you are," she replied with a smile.
"OK," said the cub, and padded off. Later, he found his dad out by the iceberg.
"Dad, am I a polar bear?"
"Sure you are, son!" said his dad, wondering a bit at why his son would ask such a silly thing.
The next day, the cub asked the question again and again.
"Are you and mom polar bears? You are? Well, then, does that make me a polar bear? Pure, 100% polar bear?"
Finally, his parents couldn't stand it any longer. "Son, you're driving us crazy with this question! You are a polar bear! Why do you keep asking?"
The cub looked up and confessed,
Cause I'm FREEZING

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Psalm 100:1
Psalm 100 is one of the great songs of thanksgiving in the Bible. It calls us to realize that we belong to God our Maker (vv.3-4), and to praise Him for His goodness, mercy, and truth
During a recent reading, however, I was struck by a phrase that speaks of expressing thanks in a tangible, willing way: “Serve the Lord with gladness” (v.2).
Many times my service to God is more grudging than glad. I do what I consider my duty, but I’m not happy about it.
True thankfulness is more than being grateful for what we possess. It’s an attitude that permeates our relationship with the Lord so that we may serve Him with gladness and joy

You know there might be something to that old farmers tale.
Onions in soup do make one feel better when you have a cold.
