ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
TUESDAY,JANUARY 25TH, 2022
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day which honors a popular packing material .
In the late 1950;s an American engineer named Al Fielding and a Swiss inventor named Marc Chavannes created Bubble Wrap. They were actually trying to come up with a plastic, textured wall paper, but soon realized thier product had huge potential as a packaging material .
They formed the Sealed Air Corporation and introduced Bubble Wrap to the public in January of 1960. Today Sealed Air is a global Fortune 500 company and produces enough Bubble Wrap to stretch from the Earth to moon each year.
In the past Sealed Air has sponsored an annual Bubble Wrap competition for Young Inventors. Kids competed to create the most innovative product using Bubble Wrap as the primary material. Past winners include a floating garden, a cell phone cover, a swing for children with movement disorders, and a transformable kite kit.
To celebrate today enjoy popping an entire roll of Bubble Wrap bubbles ! Pop! Pop! Pop!
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
There are two types of people when it comes to box openers. Those who open a box for the goods, and those who open boxes for the bubble wrap.

I use a lot of Bubble wrap packing gifts to my children out of town. I need to mail their gifts and often they are breakable. I prefer it to most any other kind of packaging material. It’s not messy as all like those old fashion noodles were that we used to use.
Much to my surprised the stocking stuffer gifts the kids got at Chistmas time were little pocket sized games that were called poppers. They resembled the bubble wrap bubbles and came as a game for children. The kids loved them. A lot of people say they are good stress relievers for kids and adults.
Sadly I still haven’t mailed out two gifts for Christmas to some in my family. They don’t live out of state, but couldn’t make it to our family Christmas celebration this year. I have them ready to go but it’s too cold for me to venture out right now. These are not filled with bubble wrap but newspapers. Another good packaging material. I may just hang on to them and give them out when we have our Easter get together. I’m all about trying to save money on postage and even small packages cost a lot.. We’ll see how the weather goes….
Hope you are all staying well and safe
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!

Popping bubble wrap is good therapy. It can relieve a lot of stress.
My gr-daughters loved the sounds. 4 year olds can dance like crazy.
Can't we all benefit from some harmless stress relief? I always keep a roll of bubble wrap in the closet, just in case. Wonderful invention, for sure ... those 'noodles' are so annoying and stick to everything.
